The Role
Based out of our Bowen Hills and Stafford offices, you'll have the opportunity to focus on recruitment, primarily for our diverse business streams on the east coast of Australia, where you'll support our leaders to fill challenging roles across scientific and corporate environments. You'll use your creative sourcing strategies to build and nurture talent pools and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
The day to day
* Sourcing hard‐to‐fill roles in the Science industry, using multiple attraction methods and various tools to proactively find candidates (e.g. LinkedIn, Seek, referrals and other relevant advertising methods).
* Building talent pools to continually enable a strong pipeline of talent.
* Drafting and posting advertisements that attract and engage candidates for positions.
* Providing advice and education to leaders on interviewing and assessment techniques.
* Collaborating with the broader HR team to support and manage activities within scope.
* Building relationships with external organisations such as universities, TAFE and schools to build brand awareness and engage with future talent.
* Providing insights to the team and business on market trends.
* Managing candidates from application through to onboarding whilst providing an exceptional experience.
* Where required, leading volume recruitment campaigns including assessment centres.
The Essentials
* Excellent communication, stakeholder and candidate‐management skills.
* Previous experience within an internal recruitment team.
* A passion for sourcing and securing the best talent in the market and providing a great candidate experience.
* Ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders using a consultative approach.
* Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a team, with a proactive approach to resolving challenges and pursuing opportunities.
* Experience managing multiple streams of work and juggling competing priorities.
* A proactive approach to prioritising workload and planning.
* Qualifications in Business/Human Resources or related field (desirable).
* A positive, proactive attitude, sense of urgency and a belief in working hard while having fun.
