Role Overview
You will be responsible for keeping Workday running stable, secure, and thoughtfully configured, while gradually improving how the system supports our people and processes. This role is for someone who enjoys getting into the detail of Workday, understands its moving parts, embraces troubleshooting day‐to‐day issues, and likes being the go‐to for how things should be set up.
Responsibilities
* Configure and maintain the Workday backend, shaping business processes, security roles, and tenant health like a true system architect.
* Debug system issues across modules, tracing problems to their source with elite root‐cause analysis skills.
* Deploy enhancements and upgrades, turning business ideas into clean, scalable Workday solutions.
* Build reports and dashboards, transforming raw data into readable insights (no cryptic spreadsheets allowed).
* Ensure the right users have the right access (no oops I pressed something wrong).
* Serve as the resident Workday Sage, translating business needs into system logic and Workday logic back into plain English.
Qualifications
* Hands‐on experience as a Workday Systems Administrator or Analyst, comfortable working behind the scenes.
* Strong knowledge of Workday configuration, reporting, and business processes.
* A love of problem‐solving, logic puzzles, and making broken things behave again.
* Confidence navigating complex systems, including security frameworks and process dependencies.
* Clear communication skills, able to explain technical wizardry to non‐technical teammates.
* An eye for detail and optimisation, because clean data and smooth processes spark joy.
Bonus Powers (Nice to Have)
* Experience across multiple Workday modules.
* Exposure to Workday implementations or major upgrades.
* Advanced reporting or dashboard design skills.
* A tendency to get a little too excited about elegant system design.
