Responsibilities
Work as part of the Traffic Facilities North team supervising a team carrying out routine maintenance and renewal activities associated with, but not limited to:
Large signs
Pavement markings (Arrows, numerals, small lines, 40 School Zones, etc.)
Bridge and Barrier painting
This is an exciting ongoing full time position based in Waratah but working across NSW. You will be expected to work occasional overtime and night shifts. You will frequently be living away from home and staying in overnight accommodation.
Qualifications
Proactive and organised leader with extensive knowledge and experience in road maintenance type environments, specifically with signs and linemarking.
Excellent communicator with great negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Proven ability to follow appropriate safe working procedures and resolve routine problems independently.
Strong relationship building with external and internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Valid White card, traffic controller & implement traffic control plans certification with a willingness to attain 'Prepare Work Zone Traffic Management Plan' and a MR Truck License.
Highly desirable: Working At Heights ticket, experience with Elevated Work Platforms, and First Aid & CPR Certification.
