About the Role:

The Retail Manager plays a crucial part in driving business success through effective leadership, strategic planning, and excellent customer service. Their core responsibilities encompass managing store operations, developing sales and marketing initiatives, analysing sales figures, and forecasting future trends.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily store operations, including staff management, inventory control, and visual merchandising. They will also lead product selection, stock levels, and ordering processes to meet local customer demands.

Staff Management & Leadership:

As a Retail Manager, they will lead, recruit, train, and supervise the retail sales team. This includes preparing staff rostering, assigning duties, managing staff performance, conducting appraisals, and fostering a high-performance culture within the team.

Customer Service Standards & Compliance:

The Retail Manager is expected to oversee and ensure the delivery of high-quality customer service by the entire team. They will resolve complex customer inquiries or complaints escalated by team members and ensure the store's compliance with all company policies and occupational health and safety regulations.
