We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Field Operations Rigger to support our client's ongoing mobile network maintenance and upgrade activities across the region.
This role involves reactive, preventative, and corrective maintenance on towers, antennas, feeders, and site support systems to ensure high performance and reliability of critical network assets.
You’ll work both independently and with field teams to carry out rigging, equipment testing, site repairs, and generator operations, while adhering to strict WHS and RF safety standards. This opportunity suits candidates with strong rigging experience, telecom exposure, and a commitment to safe, high‑quality field operations.
Key Requirements
- Maintain and repair antennas, feeders, DC systems, and site infrastructure
- Conduct rigging activities including slinging, load assessment, and lifting equipment setup
- Perform preventive maintenance according to planned schedules
- Troubleshoot and test alarms, lighting, fuses, AC systems, and site support equipment
- Manage, refuel, and connect generators including temporary power setups
- Complete site documentation and fault/repair reporting
- Assist with spare‑parts handling, inventory, and logistics
- Provide after‑hours or on‑call support when required
- Uphold all WHS, RF safety, and high‑risk activity procedures
