About the Role

Reporting to the Group CEO, the Business Development Manager will bring their growth mindset, strong networking & relationship building skills, natural drive and sales/commercial acumen to champion our brands while delivering outstanding customer experience across regions.
Based in Vic. the role requires travel to UK, EU & USA 3-4 times p.a. ideal for a robust sales/BD associate who enjoys work travel & generating new leads/business locally and abroad.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the CEO to develop/execute strategic growth initiatives across Northern Hemisphere markets, especially EU.
* Lead the planning & coordination of new product launches aligned to customer expectations & trends.
* Work with marketing/content teams to deliver compelling product narratives, assets, campaigns suited to online retail platforms.
* Conduct analysis of past and present sales figures to predict future trends, adjust strategies to maximize growth.
* Facilitate the seamless flow of product data, content & digital assets to key customers, ensuring accuracy & timeliness.
* Build & maintain relationships with major online retail partners in UK, EU, and potentially USA.
* Monitor performance metrics, customer feedback to improve launch strategies and execution.
* Act as a global liaison between regional teams, ensuring consistent messaging and execution across markets.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Experience creating new business opps. preferably in the sportswear, outdoor wear, footwear, equestrian industry, with some multinational exposure ideally.
* Proven ability to exceed targets and work well under pressure.
* Strong business acumen and review data metrics to make evidence‐based decisions.
* A lateral thinker, solve new problems, strive for creative solutions.
* Organised person, who thrives in a fast‐paced large business.
* Build rapport across many demographics, overcoming objections and achieving business results.
* Natural communicator and strong negotiator with proven influencing skills.
* French and German language skills would be of benefit but not a necessity.
* Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Power Point) experience and proficiency.
Candidate Profile
* Resides in AUS within a commutable distance to WB's main office in Dandenong South, free to travel locally and internationally.
* Driven person with aptitude for success and goes the extra mile.
* Equestrian, Pet or Outdoor sporting goods products industry experience.
* 2-3 years experience in B2B sales with solid record of meeting target.
