Business Development Manager - Gold Coast/ Tweed Heads

The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and results‐oriented Business Development Executive to oversee and develop our business, with a territory ranging from the Gold Coast down to Tweed Heads. This role offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of building a unique community based B2C Customer Acquisition Program, developing 'Partner 'relationships' with B2B on‐premises and off‐premise retail liquor channels.
You will 'Disrupt' your territory with our hyperlocal, Direct to Consumer and B2B ecommerce platforms that fuel excitement in all liquor distribution channels, inspire action, and drive growth with our partners and great deals for retail customers across the largest range of Beer, Wine and Spirits.
This role reports to the Regional Sales Manager for QLD and NSW and you will be part of a thriving and hugely successful sales team with an incredible mix of industry knowledge and experience. You will be working with and learning from some of the best the industry has to offer and having a great time doing it!
Responsibilities
* Developing a unique affiliate program for driving B2C sales through local service businesses
* Maximising key retail ranging opportunities and programmes in store
* Executing our national brand promotions and other activities
* Identifying and driving new business opportunities
* Managing a diverse customer ecosystem and territory and work with our delivery partners to drive customer acquisition programs
Qualifications
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a face‐to‐face sales role
* B2B sales experience of any type is required
* A confident communicator, focused on building long‐term lasting relationships
* Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills
* Innovative approach to win business
* A 'go‐getter' with a positive attitude + entrepreneurial mindset
* Demonstrated ability and comfortability in working autonomously
* Flexibility with travel to ensure territory is managed appropriately
* Intermediate skill level with MS Office suite
* Proficiency in basic MS Office functions required
* A valid driver's license
* Prior experience in the alcoholic beverage or liquor industry is preferred but not required
