Job Title: Packing Professional
Our organization is seeking a skilled Packing Professional to join our logistics team. As a key member of our operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate selection and packing of products according to customer orders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately select and pack steel products according to customer specifications, including product type, quantity, and quality.
* Operate handling equipment and conduct regular maintenance to ensure smooth operation.
* Perform quality checks and report any discrepancies or damages in orders to the supervisor.
* Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and replenishment.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
* Collaborate with team members and other departments to improve processes and enhance workflow efficiencies.
* Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay engaged and informed of any changes or updates within the organization.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a pick packer or in warehousing, logistics, or related field is preferred.
* Ability to lift heavy products and stand for extended periods.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Basic mathematical skills for managing inventory counts.
* Excellent communication skills, promoting a collaborative work environment.

Day-to-Day:
* Begin each day with a team briefing to discuss objectives, priorities, and any safety updates.
* Receive and review packing instructions or orders for processing.
* Efficiently locate and select steel products from different parts of the warehouse, using appropriate equipment.
* Pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all items meet quality standards.
* Conduct regular checks of inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management.
* Communicate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize packing processes.
* Conclude each shift by organizing the work area and submitting daily productivity reports.
