Team Lead - Drug & Alcohol Clinician About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a multi-disciplinary team in the provision of Drug & Alcohol services to the Dubbo Community and surrounding regions.

You will have leadership & team management skills and clinical expertise in the provision of Drug & Alcohol Services. You will maintain the supportive, passionate and committed team culture and prioritise patient outcomes and staff development.

Step into a role where you will have a meaningful impact on the lives of people with Drug & Alcohol issues, forge strong partnerships with patients, carers and other government agencies and have an impact on regional communities.

The purpose of this position is to coordinate the clinical and operational functions of the Drug & Alcohol Service across the Western NSW Local Health District (WNSWLHD), including the Drug Court Program, MERIT Program, Drug & Alcohol Counselling, the Substance Use in Pregnancy and Parenting Service (SUPPS), and the Youth Drug & Alcohol Program.

The role ensures these programs operate in accordance with relevant Commonwealth and State agreements, legislative requirements, and NSW Health priorities relating to alcohol and other drug treatment, diversion initiatives, and harm reduction strategies.
