14/7 OR 7/7 FIFO from Perth | $150,864 + super (14/7) $124,200 + super (7/7) | Permanent role (accommodation and meals provided)
What you'll be doing
You'll be the go‐to refrigeration specialist on site, responsible for:
* Reactive, planned and preventative maintenance across village refrigeration assets
* Diagnosing and repairing breakdowns across cold rooms, refrigeration plant, split/ducted AC and heat pump HWS
* Supervising and coordinating subcontractors, including safety briefings and quality checks
* Fault finding, testing and commissioning of refrigeration and HVAC systems
* Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and legislative requirements
* Supporting general village maintenance and inspections
* Managing work orders end‐to‐end and identifying improvement opportunities
* Working closely with the Village Manager to minimise downtime and enhance client experience
What you'll bring
* Trade‐qualified Refrigeration Mechanic
* Current Refrigerant Handling Licence
* Restricted Electrical Licence
* WA Driver's Licence + full Australian working rights
* Strong experience in breakdown maintenance, commercial HVAC and cold rooms
* Confidence acting as the senior trade on site
* A safety‐first mindset and strong diagnostic capability
* Experience in remote, facilities or village environments
* Ability to support after‐hours callouts while on swing
