About the Role
Calvary Riverina Hospital is hiring a Purchasing Manager to lead procurement for the Stores and Supply team.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and control the purchasing of goods, services and equipment for the hospital.
* Ensure hospital requirements are met at best value, with appropriate quality and service standards.
* Efficiently receive, store and issue general and medical supplies and equipment.
* Liaise with stakeholders across the hospital to support supply needs.
Qualifications & Experience
* Detailed knowledge of supply chain processes.
* Proven experience in a hospital environment supply role (highly regarded).
* Experience with inventory and stock management, including three‐way matching via purchase orders and goods receipting.
* Familiarity with TechnologyOne CiA or similar materials management systems (highly desirable).
* Ability to work independently and lead a team of staff.
* Strong communication, organisational and process‐driven skills with attention to detail.
* Advanced computer skills – MS Excel and Outlook.
* Knowledge of workplace health & safety issues, especially manual handling.
* Willingness to identify and implement quality improvements.
