Job Description
Epworth Freemasons is offering permanent part-time and casual positions as a Patient Services Officer. In this role you will oversee various aspects of the pre-admission and admission process for both elective and emergency patients, reporting to the Patient Service Centre Manager.
Responsibilities
* Admitting and discharging of patients
* Responding promptly to enquiries and requests
* General administrative duties and entering patient's details to create admissions.
* Creating Estimates and completing Health Fund Checks
Qualifications
* Strong computer literacy
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong customer service focus
* Ability to prioritise in a timely and accurate manner
* Ability to work under pressure and make informed decisions according to hospital needs
* Excellent communication skills
* Previous experience in health care, medical or health fund industry will be highly advantageous
