What You'll Do:
* Support and guide lifesaving clubs to deliver safe, effective and high‐quality services
* Work closely with Club Captains, Branch Officers and regional leaders to strengthen operations
* Build strong community relationships with volunteers, councils and emergency services
* Oversee compliance, planning and quality assurance for lifesaving activities
* Conduct service audits, identify gaps and help drive improvement initiatives
* Maintain and update regional Lifesaving Service Plans
* Assist with incident reviews and contribute to emergency response coordination
* Prepare accurate operational reports for regional and branch leadership
* Represent SLSQ professionally and help promote community safety
About You:
Essential
* Working with Children Blue Card (or the ability to obtain)
* Bronze Medallion / Cert II Public Safety (or ability to obtain)
* Advanced Resuscitation & First Aid certificates (or the ability to obtain)
* Driver Licence
* Strong communication and relationship‐building skills
* Flexibility for occasional weekends/evenings for meetings, carnivals or volunteer support
Desirable
* Knowledge of surf lifesaving operations or community‐based service programs
