We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer and Fitter to join our team at the theme park.
Job Description
This role involves conducting routine and thorough maintenance of ride systems, including tracks, vehicles, motors, brakes, hydraulics, pneumatics, sensors, and safety systems.
* Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs, ensuring all mechanical and control systems meet OEM standards.
* Overhaul rides and attractions during scheduled maintenance, keeping every ride in peak performance condition.
* Test safety systems, emergency stops, and sensors, making sure every guest experience is thrilling and safe.
As part of our engineering team, you will also collaborate with electrical engineers, safety teams, and vendors to maintain and upgrade rides. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor apprentice engineers and fitters, sharing your knowledge and passion for mechanical excellence.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Experienced in mechanical engineering, ride systems, or as a qualified fitter.
* Skilled in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs of complex mechanical systems.
* Safety-conscious and detail-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
