Position Location: Port Pirie / Kadina
Position Status: Casual – multiple positions available

You will join our Supported Residential Care team, providing safe and stable accommodation for children and young people who cannot live at home. Many have experienced trauma or difficult circumstances. Your role is to help them feel secure, build confidence, and develop life skills for a brighter future.
You will work within a trauma‐informed approach, supported by training and a strong team culture. Every day you will make a difference by creating positive routines, encouraging healthy choices, and being a trusted adult in their lives.
To ensure this role is the right fit, a psychological suitability assessment will be conducted later in the process. We will explain everything and support you through it after the interview stage.

Key Responsibilities
* Work with children and young people with high and complex needs.
* Be prepared to work shift work, including nights and weekends.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Current Australian Driver's Licence.
* DHS Working with Children Check (SA) and a National Criminal History Check.
* Safe Environments for Children & Young People (Through Their Eyes).
* Certificate IV (or above) in Youth Work, or Child, Youth and Family Intervention, or similar.
* If you do not yet hold a Cert IV, you may apply if you are enrolled or willing to commence within six months. Paid training is offered as part of the role.
* Availability for some out‐of‐hours work and travel between Uniting Country SA sites or interstate as required.
