Position: Sales and Service Engineer – Water Treatment
Alba water & Process Solutions Pty Ltd – Forrestdale WA
Reports to: General Manager
We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Sales & Service Engineer to join our Alba Water & Process Solutions team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with client engagement, problem-solving, and business development within the ANZ water treatment industry.
In this role, you will work closely with customers to provide system support, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and tailored treatment solutions while identifying opportunities to grow Alba Water existing accounts and develop new business.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and secure new sales opportunities and service contracts
* Prepare quotations, technical reports, and service documentation
* Develop and maintain strong client relationships across existing accounts
* Provide in-field servicing for Alba Water & Process Solutions Water Treatment Plants or Client Plants (including remote mine sites)
* This role requires occasional travel and remote site work on a monthly basis
* Conduct site inspections, commissioning, testing, and preventative maintenance
* Provide technical support and tailored treatment solutions to Alba Water customers
* Support installation and startup of treatment systems
* Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
* Carry out any other duties as may be assigned from time to time by your Superior
Skills & Experience
* Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline
* 5+ years of experience in water treatment industry
* Experience in water treatment systems (various pre-treatments & RO etc)
* Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Previous sales or customer-facing experience preferred
* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
