Early Childhood Educator Assistant
About the Role
Casual educators provide invaluable support to permanent staff members by assisting with daily routines and activities across multiple rooms.
* Supporting staff members with daily tasks such as setting up learning environments, preparing materials, and implementing educational programs.
* Developing strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork.
* Collaborating with educators to create engaging experiences that align with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
* Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment by adhering to safety protocols and providing a supportive atmosphere for children.
Key Qualifications
* Hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved).
* Possess a valid Working with Children Check (Employee – VIC) and current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications.
* Understand the National Quality Framework (NQF) and EYLF principles.
* Be flexible to work a variety of shifts between 6:30 AM and 6:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
* Display a positive attitude and genuine passion for early childhood education.
