Contract Administrator – Residential Construction, Canberra

Salary: A$130,000.00-A$140,000.00 per annum.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare, review, and manage contracts, subcontractor agreements, and variations.
* Monitor and manage subcontractor claims, costs, and commitments.
* Support procurement activities and subcontractor engagement.
* Assist with monthly reporting and tracking of contract milestones.
* Manage contract close‐out activities, including defect management and final accounts.
* Maintain internal systems, documentation, and compliance records.
* Collaborate with project and commercial teams to mitigate risk and improve efficiency.
About You
* Proven experience in contract administration or commercial support within construction (residential/high‐rise advantageous).
* Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
* Knowledge of contract documentation, variations, claims, and close‐out processes.
* Experience with systems such as CHEOPS, Aconex, or similar is desirable.
* Practical, solution‐oriented, and committed to high standards of accuracy.
