The Opportunity
I'm working with a well-established Tier 2 contractor delivering a $70M student accommodation project in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.
The project is in its early stages, providing the opportunity to be involved from the outset — including procurement, programming, and setting the project up for successful delivery.
This role is suited to either:
* A Senior Project Engineer ready to step into a Project Manager position, or
* A Project Manager who has delivered their first project and is looking to build on that experience
You'll be stepping into a well-supported team, with strong senior leadership and structure around you.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead project planning, procurement, and early-stage delivery
* Manage programme, cost, and quality outcomes
* Coordinate subcontractors and site teams
* Liaise with client, consultants, and internal stakeholders
* Maintain strong commercial and contractual oversight
What We're Looking For
* Experience on $50M+ projects (residential, mixed-use, accommodation or similar)
* Background as a Senior Project Engineer or early-stage Project Manager
* Strong understanding of early-stage project setup and procurement
* Confident managing stakeholders and driving programme outcomes
* Commercially aware with solid contract knowledge
