About the Role
This role involves working closely with a care manager and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care. Delivering physiotherapy programs tailored to meet the diverse needs of residents is key to this position.
The Physio Aide will be responsible for implementing treatment plans within group settings or one-on-one as directed by a physiotherapist, motivating residents to maintain independence, and preparing treatment areas.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Implement physiotherapy programs under the direction of a physiotherapist.
* Support resident autonomy through motivation and assistance.
* Prepare treatment areas and ensure equipment is ready for use.
* Contribute to the development and review of resident care plans.
To Be Successful in This Position You Will Have:
* Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (specialising in Physiotherapy) or an equivalent qualification.
* Experience in designing and developing physiotherapy programs, particularly those focused on transfers, mobility, pain management, equipment use, and biomechanics.
* Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to generate innovative solutions.
