About the Role
You will provide proficient, person‐centred nursing care while supporting the leadership and coordination of the unit. Working closely with the Nurse Unit Manager, you will assist with staffing, rostering, practice improvement and day‐to‐day operational activities to support safe and effective patient care. You will guide and supervise less experienced staff, contribute to a positive learning culture, and support quality improvement and clinical education initiatives within the unit.
* Registered or eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and holding a current practising certificate.
* Minimum 3 years post‐registration experience or currently classified as a Clinical Nurse/Midwife.
* Demonstrated competence in nursing practice and experience supervising students and less experienced staff.
* Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills, including experience using Microsoft Office programmes.
* Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and Immunisation compliance.
