We're seeking a passionate and experienced Digital Identity Lead to play a pivotal role in delivering the University's digital identity strategy and uplifting our cyber security maturity.
In this role, you'll guide a talented technical team to deliver cutting-edge identity and access management solutions for staff, students, and external users. You'll work collaboratively with stakeholders across the University to align our digital identity program with Curtin's target state architectures and user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the delivery, operation and improvement of the University's Digital Identity platform for staff, students and external users.
* Manage technical and outsourced resources to ensure high-quality, timely program outcomes.
* Partner with business and technology stakeholders to align identity and access management solutions with strategic and architectural objectives.
* Drive continuous improvement and uplift of cyber security capabilities within the Digital Identity function.
* Foster team cohesion, motivation and professional development in a cross-functional environment.
Who we are looking for - Selection Criteria:
* Relevant qualifications and extensive management experience in Digital Identity or Identity and Access Management (IAM) programs.
* Demonstrated success in leading specialised technical teams and projects using Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
* In-depth knowledge of IAM technologies (e.g. ForgeRock, EntraID, Okta) and identity governance concepts.
* Strong organisational and project management capabilities.
* Ability to build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with business and technical stakeholders at all levels.
* Confident communicating complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
* Willing to navigate change and build alignment across the team and priorities.
Desirable experience includes:
* Scripting and integration experience (e.g. PowerShell, Python, JavaScript).
Role Requirements:
1. As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered
