About The Role
The Nurse Navigator role will be integral in providing clinical leadership, management and co‐ordinating the functions of the Emergency Department. The primary function of the role is to manage and support the flow of patients through our emergency departments on a shift‐by‐shift basis. This position also provides clinical support, and mentoring throughout the shift, as well as supporting professional development and quality improvement programs.
This role will balance with a clinical shift to provide a well‐rounded professional development opportunity.

Qualifications
* Current nursing registration with AHPRA.
* Post graduate qualifications in Emergency or Critical Care with a minimum 3‐year experience within the clinical specialty.
* High level of interpersonal and communication skills incl. advocacy and negotiation and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Demonstrated knowledge and ability to mentor and coach nursing staff to enhance professional development.
