Group Business Director – QMS Media
We are one of Australia’s leading outdoor media companies. We’re looking for an energetic go‑getter to join our team as Group Business Director.
What You’ll Be Up To
* Meet and exceed sales targets and grow market share based on yearly targets.
* Maximise revenue from new and existing client accounts to achieve agreed revenue targets/sales quotas and ensure complete customer satisfaction.
* Budget achievement.
* Lead the Account Executives/Account Managers in your immediate teams.
* Drive the QMS Media business and brand across the individual agency portfolio.
* Increase QMS Media share of media revenue across the product suite of Outdoor, Canberra Airport and Street Furniture.
* Formulate, implement and manage strategic business plans regarding client base to achieve sales revenue/sales targets.
* Serve as the main interface between the client and the organisation, ensuring optimal service.
* Maintain active market presence and strong peer‑to‑peer client relationships.
* Coach, motivate and manage direct reports effectively.
What We’re Looking For
* Preferred degree in business, media, communications or related fields.
* Previous experience in a similar role, including Media Sales, Outdoor Sales, Team Management & Media Agency Experience.
* Excellent relationship‑building skills.
* Proven senior sales ability with outstanding negotiation, persuasive and communication skills.
* Ability to motivate and manage direct and indirect teams across multiple functions.
* Specialist OOH product and industry knowledge, ability to translate client needs into complete solutions.
* Appreciation for designated accounts and balancing organisational and client needs.
