DSV Solutions is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Lead Project Manager and Implementation in Sydney NSW.
The position is responsible for leading the proactive day‐to‐day Project Management & Implementation function, ensuring the effective delivery of operational, commercial, and transformational initiatives across DSV Contract Logistics.
This role provides strategic leadership, governance, and oversight of project execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives, operational excellence, customer requirements, and DSV global standards.
Your typical day at DSV
* Lead end to end project delivery including scope, planning, milestones, dependencies and critical path management of a project portfolio nationally
* Drive best‐practice project methodologies and continuous improvement
* Ensuring operational readiness for new site setups, transitions, and closures
* Enhancing organisational capability across project management disciplines
* Managing key stakeholder relationships internally and with customers
* Lead, mentor and develop the Project Management & Implementation team, ensuring high performance, accountability, and capability growth.
* Provide direction for complex or high‐profile projects, including escalation management, risk oversight, and decision‐making support
* Ensure operational readiness for new customer implementations, site changes, or major operational reconfigurations
About you
* 10+ years' experience in logistics, 3PL or supply chain operations, with demonstrated leadership of complex project portfolios
* Proven leadership experience managing a team
* Highly developed senior stakeholder management skills, including influencing and negotiation
* Proven ownership of project budgets and commercial decision making
* Demonstrated experience in the planning and delivery of discrete project outcomes within a low complexity project environment
* Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and management skills
* Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent) preferred
* Lean/Six Sigma qualifications advantageous
