About the opportunity
A number of part‐time fixed‐term education focused roles are available until December2026. These roles will be based in the SusanWakil Health building on the Camperdown Campus, within the School of Health Sciences, which is ranked third worldwide for sports, physical therapy, and rehabilitation.
Base salary starting from $83,454 plus 17% superannuation (pro‐rata).
Key responsibilities
* Undertake teaching in the discipline, contributing to outstanding teaching and learning outcomes.
* Engage in high‐quality teaching and learning experiences meeting the University's expectations and standards for education.
* Carry out administrative tasks primarily connected with the teaching area and discipline.
* Contribute to a positive workplace culture that values diversity of thought, collaboration, excellence and achieving outcomes.
* Understand and contribute to furthering the university and faculty strategic agenda.
* Undertake other duties appropriate within the classification level as required.
About you
* Currently enrolled as an MPhil or PhD student at the University of Sydney, full‐time or part‐time.
* Demonstrate a clear understanding of the subject matter within the discipline.
* Have research supervisor endorsement for the role and be on track in studies.
* Have experience in teaching and learning, evidenced by participation in teaching within an established program and experience in a variety of settings.
* Have experience as a team member in designing, implementing and evaluating teaching and learning initiatives.
* Developing knowledge and understanding of key strategic issues in the discipline and higher education sector.
