Main Responsibilities

1. Prepare and manage production, maintenance, energy, and general expenditure budgets for the assigned unit
2. Identify and support investment needs to enhance production capabilities and plant performance
3. Monitor operational performance and drive cost, efficiency, and waste optimization
4. Ensure effective use of production resources to maximize operational performance and efficiency
5. Approve and oversee the execution of weekly production plans, taking corrective action when required
6. Collaborate with production planning teams to meet output, efficiency, and quality targets
7. Ensure compliance with quality standards, work instructions, and product specifications
8. Guarantee adherence to food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations across the production area
9. Promote a strong quality and safety culture
10. Plan, coordinate, and supervise team activities within the production unit
11. Contribute to workforce planning (short- and long-term)
12. Define objectives and evaluate team performance in alignment with plant guidelines
13. Support talent development, capability building, and engagement initiatives
14. Drive absenteeism management and foster a positive working environment
15. Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and performance
16. Promote operational excellence through structured improvement programs and methodologies
17. Support innovation and enhancement projects within the production system
18. Set priorities for maintenance interventions in collaboration with maintenance teams
19. Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of maintenance plans

About You

20. University degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field
21. Solid experience in manufacturing, production, or plant operations (FMCG experience preferred)
22. Strong understanding of production processes, quality standards, and safety regulations
23. Continuous improvement mindset (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma exposure is an advantage)
24. Strong analytical and budget management capabilities
25. Proven leadership capability with team management exposure
26. Ability to work cross-functionally and drive operational excellence
