About the role
Full‐time role with full entitlements. Competitive flat rate. Family‐friendly 4:3 roster (Monday‐Thursday day shift; Friday‐Sunday off). 12‐hour shifts.
Weekly pay cycle. Monthly team KPI bonus incentives. Company‐paid income protection and life/illness insurance (condition based on length of service). Drive‐in‐drive‐out role traveling on country roads without traffic.
Work at two local mine sites, workers' village, and the local township. Paid lunch breaks, annual leave accrued up to 45 hours per week, superannuation on all hours, onsite gym, all food and meals provided, accommodation provided, wide variety of work, workforce social club and company‐organised social events. FIFO‐perks with ability to go home in case of a family emergency.
Reporting & Responsibilities
* Carry out repairs, maintenance and installation activities on infrastructure such as distribution boards, communications, lighting, and other electrical systems.
* Study drawings, specifications and work orders to determine work requirements and sequence of repairs and/or installations.
* Assist with shutdown execution.
* Follow all site safety rules and actively participate in meetings.
* Complete all safety documentation and associated permits to a high standard.
* Complete all Curtis Electrical electronic job notes and test sheets on SimPro to a high standard.
* Maintain a high standard of safety practices.
About You
Must have
* Relevant electrical trade qualification.
* EWP, working at heights licence and sound experience working off scissor lifts.
* CPR/LVR valid within 12 months.
* Ability to work alone and meet deadlines with high quality workmanship and work ethics.
* Good knowledge of AS/NZS 3000.
* Test installations to a high standard and complete test sheets on all work you install and submit entries in the site mine log book.
* High standard of cleanliness and organisation with company vehicles and tooling.
* Relaxed, loyal, well‐communicated and eager team member committed to being part of the daily challenges and changes of large mine sites.
* Actively involved in working on solutions to get the job done while maintaining safety and site compliance.
* Own extensive personal tool kit including battery tooling.
* Full Australian working rights (citizen or permanent resident).
* Ability to pass pre‐employment and ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
* Police clearance required every 12 months.
Nice to have
* Experience in small project/installation work (ideally commercial or industrial); extensive domestic experience will also be considered.
* A/C split system installation ticket/licence and relevant experience.
* Data licence and experience installing data cables/patch panels, data outlets.
* HV switching.
* H.R. driver's licence.
* Live within 100 km radius of Boddington township and demonstrate that living away will not impede personal life or performance.
* Minor fabrication of brackets, steel conduit work and cable tray installation.
* Experience using SimPro and INX software packages.
