Overview
We're a content-obsessed boutique marketing agency based in Perth, WA. We're looking for a strategic + creative Content & Social Media Specialist to join us on a contract basis, working alongside Tash, our Founder & CMO (and resident Content Strategist) to bring amazing content to life for our clients' marketing channels. This is a fast-paced and flexible role with the opportunity to stretch your creative muscles while using data to drive results for clients. The role is fully remote with agency over which days you work. Our ideal candidate is self-led with strong time management and the ability to work independently. Perth-based availability is required to assist with on-site client content visits, team training and occasional working lunches.
Responsibilities
* Create content for B2B, B2C, retail, property, education, hospitality and service-based businesses on a weekly basis.
* Transform raw material (video, photography assets) from client Content Libraries into captivating reels and posts.
* Copywriting and digital design for social media, websites and email marketing content.
* Schedule social media posts, reels and stories according to a weekly and fortnightly schedule and approval flow.
* Manage client social media accounts to keep content up-to-date and relevant (pinned posts, story highlights, links).
* Monitor client digital dashboards and assist with monthly performance reports.
* Assist with additional tasks such as social media marketing for NW Creative Studio, client visits, strategy development, SEO and paid ads campaigns, client support/training and developing SOPs.
* Participate in regular professional development and learn from the Founder & CMO.
About You / Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in content creation or social media marketing, agency or brand-side.
* Extensive experience managing social media accounts across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest and LinkedIn.
* Photography and mobile videography skills (planning, capturing and editing).
* A keen eye for detail and a creative flair.
* Graphic design experience with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
* Stakeholder or client management experience.
* Knowledge of SEM, SEO, paid ads, organic social and email marketing principles.
* Ability to take action, use initiative and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Access to a vehicle – travel across Perth to capture content for clients.
* Commitment to continuous improvement and lifelong learning; digital marketing changes frequently.
* Multi-channel digital marketing experience (email, web, social ads, analytics).
* Copywriting skills to craft stories through content with words and visuals.
* Experience in retail or hospitality sectors.
* Interest in data and marketing measurement.

Notes
We offer up to 30 hours/week initially, with opportunities to increase hours on a project basis. The rate is $35-$45 + GST/hour based on experience + superannuation. This is a 12-month contract with potential extension following a successful three-month probation. The role requires an ABN.
