The opportunity
We are seeking a friendly and professional permanent part-time receptionist to join the team at Karrinyup Waters Resort.
Roles
* Role 1: Sunday (8am – 6pm), Monday (12pm – 6pm) and Tuesday (12pm – 6pm). Approximately 22 hours.
* Role 2: Thursday (12pm – 6pm), Friday (8am – 6pm) and Saturday (8am – 6pm). Approximately 26 hours.
As a part‐time receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, managing inquiries, and ensuring the smooth running of our front‐of‐house operations.
Key responsibilities
* Greeting and welcoming guests in a warm and friendly manner.
* Handling inquiries and booking requests, either in person, over the phone, or via email.
* Checking guests in and out, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
* Providing information about the resort's facilities and local attractions.
* Assisting with the management of the resort's inventory and supplies.
* Performing other administrative tasks as required.
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a customer service or front‐of‐house role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to provide exceptional customer service.
* Strong organisational and time‐management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
* Proficiency in using common office software, such as Microsoft Office.
* A positive, friendly, and professional attitude.
* Availability and willingness to cover other staff shifts as required for holiday or sick cover.
