Seeking a Junior Overnight Veterinarian to provide quality overnight emergency care within a busy veterinary hospital environment. This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering a supportive and professional setting for skill development.
About the Role
* Qualifications: Veterinary degree with clinical experience preferred for overnight emergency duties.
* Compensation: Competitive hourly rate within the market range for this role. $50-$60 per hour plus 50% loading for hours worked after midnight.
* Location: Metropolitan area in Western Australia.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist senior emergency veterinarians with patient assessment and care during overnight shifts.
* Support clinical evaluations, diagnostics, and the development of treatment plans.
* Manage critical patient care including wound management, fluid therapy, resuscitation, and trauma cases.
* Maintain detailed clinical documentation and adhere to established care protocols.
* Engage in professional communication during handovers and with clients as appropriate.
* Enhance clinical and communication skills in emergency medicine under senior guidance.
