Job Title: Barista
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a wide range of coffee and espresso-based beverages while providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and serve coffee and espresso-based beverages according to established recipes and standards.
* Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a welcoming and friendly experience for all customers.
* Operate espresso machines and other coffee equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and cleanliness.
* Grind coffee beans to the appropriate coarseness for each order, ensuring freshness and flavour.
* Steam and froth milk for use in various coffee beverages, achieving the desired consistency and temperature.
* Monitor and replenish coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies as needed to ensure product availability.
* Stay informed about the menu offerings, including seasonal specials, and effectively communicate these to customers.
Requirements:
* Able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
