MYER is looking for a Customer Research Lead who will support teams to drive incremental growth by putting customer research and insight at the heart of strategic, operational and trading decisions.

About the role:
- Accountable for implementing longer term vision and strategy for customer research to support the organisation strategy.
- Be connected to the broader business stakeholders and team to understand where customer research can support business objectives, join the dots and advocate for the customer
- Lead and run our Brand and Campaign tracking studies as well as design and run bespoke research requests
- Embed customer research into the Marketing and Digital Experience team and broader stakeholders ways of working so we are able to continuously improve our end -to-end customer experience.
- Lead and coach team to achieve superior levels of both stakeholder management and storytelling to enhance their impact on the business in a commercial context as well as providing hands on direct support to assure delivery when needed
- Lead and run key quantitative research to support strategic decision making and drive a deeper level of customer understanding to improve our customer proposition
- Development of market, consumer and shopper reporting in a succinct, focussed and compelling way that assists in commercial development with key customers
- Championing the trialling and adoption of new approaches to both quantitative and qualitative research techniques
- Ensure appropriate data governance, security standards, correct processes and quality assurance are upheld. Identify and mitigate bias in research methodologies.
About you:
- Extensive experience in quantitative market research roles, experience managing teams of researchers beneficial
- Solid quantitative research experience with the ability to initiate and use market and customer research strategically to drive change.
- Strong track record in setting up and managing brand tracking, campaign evaluation, and bespoke quant studies.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret data and research from multiple sources to concisely answer complex business questions.
- Excellent storytelling skills and can communicate and influence analytical and non-analytical audiences
- Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills
- Good understanding of technology developments and emerging consumer and industry trends
