Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced nursing professional to fill a key role within our team. As a Nurse Consultant, you will provide expert clinical leadership and advanced nursing care for children and adolescents with Cystic Fibrosis.
Your primary responsibilities will include delivering expert nursing assessment, care, and transition planning for patients with Cystic Fibrosis, leading quality improvement, research, and policy development in respiratory care, and providing leadership, mentorship, and clinical guidance to nursing and multidisciplinary teams.
In addition, you will collaborate with patients, families, and community partners to optimize outcomes and drive education, evidence-based practice, and service innovation across SA.
Requirements
* Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration and at least 3 years post-registration experience
* Expertise in respiratory or complex chronic disease management
* Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Proven ability to implement quality improvement and evidence-based care
* Knowledge of clinical governance, safety, and national health standards
