OUR FACILITIES:
Our company employs around 400 staff, across Australia. Our Dandenong South operation maintains an important stock holding and has the vehicles, tools and equipment needed to complete daily scheduled duties. Our team carry out vehicle fitments (in-house, dealerships, holding yards, local businesses), deliver and also onforward products both interstate and to remote locations.
THE ROLE:
With a large catalogue of ongoing work to complete, the role is initially casual, with a view to permanent arrangements in the future, considering business growth. We are seeking candidates available for day shift work between 6:00am to 3:30pm, from Monday to Friday.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
We are seeking a keen, eager and reliable individual to assist with:
* Pre-building, preparing and masking ute tray bodies and vehicle accessories.
* Packaging products for remote/interstate freight onforwarding.
* Loading and unloading company vehicles, for future runs/schedule duties.
Success in the role relies heavily upon the strict observance of company policies and procedures, particularly with regards to Quality, Efficiency, Safety, Service and following all directions of the Location Manager.
We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates that possess skills or experience in the following areas:
* Previous experience in the auto paint prepping industry - highly regarded.
* Previous manufacturing or assembling experience, in a high-paced environment - highly regarded.
* A keen eye for detail, quality workmanship and willingness to work to targets.
* Hand and air tool skills - a must.
* Current Forklift ticket - highly regarded.
* Must be punctual, reliable and available for work Monday to Friday, from 6:00am to 3:30pm.
SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL HAVE:
* Current C Class driver's license and reliable transport - highly regarded.
* Must be punctual, reliable and available for shift work as above.
* Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
* A great attitude to work and helping others.
* A current resume with 2 recent referees.
