Offer description

- Full-time permanent position | Hybrid working model. Carlton 3053 and WFH.
- $38.65 - $41.45p/h + Super + Salary Packaging.
- SCHADS Award Level 3, Pay point 1 -4, depending on experience.

In this role, you’ll lead engagement activities with health professionals across Victoria, raising awareness of the National Diabetes Services Scheme (NDSS) and promoting Diabetes Victoria’s programs and services.

YOUR IMPACT

You’ll build strong relationships with primary care providers, support national engagement initiatives, and represent Diabetes Victoria at conferences, education events and forums. The role also includes providing administrative support, managing data, and ensuring that all work reflects the principles of access, equity, and cultural safety.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building connections, driving awareness, and delivering projects that directly support better outcomes for people living with diabetes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver engagement activities with primary care and health professionals in line with the NDSS Health Professional Awareness and Engagement Framework.
- Build and maintain relationships with health professionals and key sector stakeholders.
- Promote NDSS programs, services and workforce education opportunities.
- Represent Diabetes Victoria at local conferences, PHN events and forums.
- Provide administrative support, including reporting, data entry and resource management.
- Ensure all work is evidence-based, accessible and culturally safe.

ABOUT YOU

You’re a natural communicator and relationship builder, with the ability to engage confidently across the primary health sector. You’ll also bring:

- Experience in stakeholder engagement and partnership development within the health sector.
- Strong knowledge of the Victorian primary care system (general practice, PHNs, pharmacy or community health).
- Understanding of diabetes management in a primary health context.
- Skills in project coordination, administration and data management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A collaborative and proactive approach to your work.

Desirable: Tertiary qualifications in public health, allied health or a related field.

Essential: Current Working with Children Check and Police Check.
