As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a self‐driven Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our Naval Base workshop. This is a hands‐on role within a small, collaborative team, taking ownership of a diverse fleet of equipment, that includes: cranes, trucks, etc.

Key Responsibilities
The role oversees the planned servicing, maintenance and repair of a wide range of vehicles, plant and construction equipment.
* Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out efficient repairs.
* Plan and prioritise daily maintenance tasks.
* Work independently while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
* Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
Fleet Includes
* Liebherr and Demag Cranes (20–350T)
* Trucks and light vehicles
* EWPs, scissor lifts, telehandlers
* Generators, compressors and associated equipment

About You
* Trade qualification as a Heavy‐Duty Mechanic
* Minimum 5 years' experience working on a wide range of plant and equipment
* Strong diagnostic and fault‐finding ability
* Experience with vehicle electrical systems (preferred)
* Ability to work autonomously and manage your workload
* Experience with parts ordering and stock control (highly regarded)
* Strong communication skills and a safety‐first mindset
