Qualifications
* Eligible for registration in the category of Registered Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
* Demonstrated advance experience in community nursing and as a team leader.
* Demonstrated leadership, management and communication skills with advanced problem solving & analytical skills.
* Demonstrated experience in primary health care principles, program planning, delivery and evaluation.
* Demonstrated ability to liaise with internal and external agencies at a local and state level as required.
* Sound knowledge of relevant legislative and health regulating ACTS including legislative obligations.
* Current knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements in the areas of Equal Opportunity, Disability Services and Occupational Safety & Health, and how these impact on employment, people management and service delivery.
* Eligible for / or in possession of a current C or C-A Class drivers licence.
Additional Qualifications
* Possession of post graduate qualifications in Child Health and Immunisation.
* Relevant certifications in management and other relevant qualifications.
* Demonstrated experience in a rural health setting.
* Demonstrated experience working in Aboriginal health.
