About the role
Sale Motor Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Advisor to join our team in Sale, Victoria. As a Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and managing the day-to-day operations of our busy automotive workshop. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment.
What you'll be doing
1. Greeting and welcoming customers, discussing their vehicle service needs, and providing accurate estimates
2. Coordinating with the workshop team to ensure timely and efficient completion of all repairs and maintenance
3. Communicating regularly with customers, providing updates on the status of their vehicles and any additional work required
4. Handling customer queries, concerns, and complaints professionally and effectively
5. Maintaining detailed records of all service activities and providing reports as required
6. Promoting our services and products to existing and potential customers
7. Ensuring the workshop and customer service areas are well-organised and maintained
What we're looking for
1. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role within the automotive industry
2. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle inquiries and complaints effectively
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers
4. Proficient in using automotive service management software and Microsoft Office applications
5. A thorough understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair processes
6. A positive, proactive, and problem-solving attitude
7. A valid driver's licence and the ability to work full-time hours
