Broadcast Specialist – Commercial – Cricket Australia
About the Role
We are recruiting for a Broadcast Specialist (12 months) within our Commercial department. The role supports the Broadcast & Production team during a busy summer of cricket, working closely with broadcast partners such as Foxtel, Seven Network, ABC, SEN and SCA.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the primary point of contact for International and Domestic Rights Holders, BBL/WBBL clubs, state associations, venue staff, and external stakeholders.
* Drive content opportunities for broadcast partners, ensuring Cricket Australia's strategic objectives guide all initiatives.
* Generate promotion opportunities during other sporting and non‐sporting programs screened on partner channels.
* Manage all content capture requirements during the summer, including content camps, headshot shoots and feature pieces.
* Coordinate logistics, stakeholder ticketing and at‐match filming requests to deliver an elevated broadcast experience, increasing share of voice and TV ratings.
* Support the Broadcast Operations team in planning, implementation and execution of allocated content.
* Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and uphold a seamless broadcast delivery.
Who We Are Looking For
* Experience in broadcast and/or leading sporting media/stakeholder management roles.
* Strong knowledge of broadcast and media operations.
* Exceptional communication, organisational and multitasking skills.
* Ability to make decisions under pressure and travel over weekends, including holidays such as Christmas.
* Understanding of cricket, its operational environment and experience managing stakeholder relationships is highly regarded.
