Potential Responsibilities
- Conduct monitoring and analysis of cyber security alerts.
- Assist with triage of incoming issues to assess priority; investigate alerts and validate if malicious.
- Escalate alerts indicating potential security incidents.
- Serve as the first line of contact for customer security requests.
- Initiate cases, document activities, and escalate issues to higher-level security analysts per Falcon Complete Standard Operating Procedures.
- Handle high-pressure situations in a productive and professional manner.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of cyber security related experience
- Fundamental understanding of information security
- Fundamental understanding of sysinternals
- Fundamental understanding of network communications
- Desire to grow and expand technical and business skills
- Postgraduate students, recent graduates or current students graduating by 30 Jan 2026 in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math, Information Security, Information Assurance, Information Security Management, Intelligence Studies, Cybersecurity, or a related field
Desirable But Not Compulsory Experience Requirements
- Incident Handling: experience conducting or managing cyber incident response for organisations, investigating targeted threats such as the Advanced Persistent Threat, Organized Crime, and Hacktivists.
- Computer Forensic Analysis: using forensic analysis tools in incident response investigations to determine the extent and scope of compromise.
- Systems Administration: understanding system internals to implement and execute countermeasures and remediation.
- Network Forensic Analysis: knowledge of network protocols, tools, and analysis of network logs.
- Malware Analysis: ability to perform static and dynamic malware analysis.
- Incident Remediation: understanding targeted attacks and ability to create remediation plans for compromised organisations.
- Network Operations and Architecture/Engineering: understanding secure network architecture and network operations.
- Emerging and Innovative Technologies: understanding AI/ML applications in cybersecurity.
- Japanese Language Skills: ability to communicate with Japanese-speaking customers and stakeholders.
