My client is seeking an experienced Lending Manager to play a critical role supporting brokers, managing complex lending files, and improving operational processes across the business. This is not an administration-only role and not a pure business development position, it's a hands‐on operational role where you'll genuinely add value to brokers, clients, and the broader business.

The team currently consists of three brokers with growing deal flow and plans for continued expansion. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and focused on delivering exceptional service outcomes.

What will you be doing?
* Manage and coordinate loan files from application through to settlement
* Oversee approximately 10–15 settlements per month and manage around 40 active files at any given time
* Liaise directly with clients throughout the lending process
* Support brokers with submissions, structuring, and documentation
* Manage timelines, milestones, and settlement deadlines
* Coordinate and allocate operational tasks across the business
* Oversee offshore support staff and ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently
* Improve workflow systems, operational standards, and process efficiencies
* Assist in building scalable operational processes as the business grows
* Handle complex lending scenarios involving trusts, ownership structures, and development clients
* Maintain exceptional customer service standards in a high-pressure environment
* Potentially assist with reporting, operational improvements, and marketing activities
What do you need?
* Approximately 3–5 years' experience in lending support, mortgage broking support, credit analysis, or lending operations
* Experience within mortgage broking, banking, or lending operations
* Ability to manage complex and documentation-heavy lending files
* Confidence communicating directly with clients and stakeholders
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Exposure to property development or high-net-worth lending clients
