Job Title: Yard Worker
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit individual to join our team as a yard worker. In this role, you will be based at our depot and be active in assisting with essential maintenance services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for moving equipment around the facility and yard, both manually and using a forklift. You will also be required to operate a forklift for carrying out yard work efficiently and safely.
Additionally, you will load and unload gas cylinders of various weights from cages and vehicles, both manually and using lifting aids. Safely filling and decanting LP Gas from cylinders is also a key responsibility.
Assisting with yard maintenance, including safe storage of tools and equipment, rubbish removal, and tasks to ensure a safe and efficient workplace is also an important part of this role.
As a yard worker, you will need to ensure all necessary documentation is completed correctly and on time.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Forklift driver's license, for in-yard fleet movements.
* Previous experience in deliveries, warehouse, and/or yard work is advantageous.
* Reliability.
* Good physical fitness and stamina.
