ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Site Safety Officer you will help to advocate safe work practices, monitor operations to eliminate hazardous activities, and develop policies to promote occupational health and safety awareness.
DUTIES
* Advise on provisions to minimise safety risks
* Direct accident investigation procedures
* Keep records of safety-related incidents and propose corrective actions
* Collaborate with managers to monitor compliance and identify safety issues
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Proven experience as safety coordinator or similar
* Experience in reporting and developing policies
* Excellent communication and advisory skills
* Diligent with an analytical mind
