About the position:The role involves assisting in the preparation, presentation, and delivery of high-quality meals and beverages to residents, ensuring they meet individual dietary requirements and preferences as specified by the dietician, speech therapist, or clinical care team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in menu planning and contribute to the implementation, monitoring, and documentation of the Food Safety Program (FSP) in partnership with the Chef Supervisor.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment by promoting safe work practices.
* Support the ongoing quality review of the FSP, including tasks like recording temperatures and receipting goods.
* Ensure the timely and friendly delivery of meals, and report any concerns regarding food and beverages to the Registered Nurse in charge.
Requirements:
* Fitness for work over a 7-day period, morning and afternoon shifts.
* Able to acquire current NDIS check.
* Experience in residential aged care and hospitality or catering.
* Current flu-vax.
