About the Role
The Library Programs Coordinator plays a key role in planning, developing and delivering engaging programs and events that promote literacy, lifelong learning and community engagement.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop and implement programs under supervision focusing on diverse demographics.
* Liaise with government agencies, schools and community organizations to co-design services and develop effective partnerships.
* Coordinate seasonal events workshops and outreach activities promoting literacy digital inclusion and cultural awareness.
Budgeting and Financial Management
* Monitor program budgets and ensure efficient resource use. Maintain accurate financial records and contribute to budget planning and reporting.
Operational Support and Customer Service
* Maintain library collection organization and accessibility ensuring seamless user experience.
* Deliver high-quality customer service assisting with inquiries and general library support.
* Perform daily operational duties including opening closing procedures and circulation tasks.
