Compensation
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $48.31–$51.81 per hour, inclusive of casual loading.
Key Responsibilities
* Support children and young people placed in family-based out‐of‐home care (OOHC).
* Plan and support activities, individual and group work, and transportation; supervise family contact.
* Provide transport, social/community, education and mentoring support.
* Collaborate with the Key Care team and advocate for the child.
* Assist in care and behaviour plans.
* Complete required documentation for operational compliance.
* Adhere to business policies and child protection procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
* Prior experience working with or on behalf of children and young people.
* Energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for working with children and young people.
* A qualification or certificate in youth or social work or human services.
* Confidence and ability to deal with difficult situations.
* Availability on weekdays and weekends.
* Tenacity, diligence and resilience, with a creative approach to problem‐solving in a fast‐paced environment.
* Full driver's licence, ability to travel within the region/state, and own fully insured vehicle.
* Hold a valid WWVP and be able to undergo a National Police Check.
