Job Description
Due to significant contract awards within our ANZ Water business, we are expanding our Water Infrastructure Team in Southeast Queensland (SEQ), delivering a secure 10-year pipeline of work.
We can base you in our Sunshine Coast or Brisbane offices.
The Water Infrastructure group provides services to a range of internal and external clients on projects covering water and wastewater treatment, dams, asset management, major conveyance, industrial, civil infrastructure, mining, and defence sectors, with a key focus on supporting sustainable outcomes for our clients and the communities they serve.

How You'll Make a Difference
Lead the design on various water infrastructure projects including networks, wastewater treatment plant upgrades, and renewals.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and designers, contributing to the growth of our talent pipeline.
Coordinate, manage and complete projects from inception, including involvement in the bidding phase, concept design, detailed design, tendering, and construction phase support.
Ensure all quality assurance processes are followed, delivering projects on time and within budget.
Build and maintain strong relationships working with various clients and local, regional, and global AECOM colleagues as part of multidisciplinary teams and project delivery.
Qualifications
Relevant tertiary qualifications & RPEQ / CPEng.
Demonstrated experience in water and/or wastewater projects within a dynamic consulting and design environment.
Experience in leading project/technical teams.
An interest in mentoring, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of applicable Australian codes and standards.
Passion for delivering high quality work & excellent client and stakeholder engagement skills.
