An excellent chance exists to join the REX Engineering Team as a full time Workshop Technician, based in Wagga Wagga, NSW.
We're looking for someone to join our Engine Workshop as a Technician, working on CT7 gas turbine engines and components for our Saab 340 fleet.
If you want to be in aviation, love working with your hands and have always wanted to work on turbine engines, this could be for you.
Reporting: This position reports to the Engine Shop Supervisor.
Position Responsibilities: Repair, servicing and maintenance of CT7 gas turbine engines & components Upkeep of workshop & equipment Completion of appropriate documentation Demonstrated mechanical aptitude Ability to follow instructions and work in a team workplace.
Ability to work under independently and adhere to deadlines.
Working knowledge of WHS procedures A valid driver's licence Well developed verbal and written communication skills Reasonable level of computer skills Meet the necessary requirements to hold an Aviation Security Identity Card High level of visual acuity Preferred Selection Criteria: Cert 4 in mechanical trade industry or Cert 4 in Aeroskills - Mechanical GE CT7 or other Gas turbine engine experience Knowledge of CASA regulations Conditions: Wage rates and conditions apply as per the Regional Express Aircraft Engineers Agreement.
