As Head of Data Analytics, you will play a pivotal leadership role to define and deliver a forward‐looking analytics strategy for Internal Audit, championing innovation and leading the adoption of cutting‐edge practices to elevate assurance outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Shape and deliver the function's data analytics strategy to drive innovation and embed leading‐edge practices across assurance.
* Translate strategy into execution by establishing standardised methodologies, reusable analytics, and scalable solutions that improve audit efficiency, coverage, and insight.
* Embed data analytics into audit delivery by working in close partnership with Portfolio Audit teams to ensure consistent, scalable, and risk‐focused application across planning, fieldwork, and reporting. Identify and prioritise data analytics opportunities in the Audit plan.
* Collaborate across enterprise data, technology, risk, and finance teams to enable access to data, align to enterprise platforms and standards, and leverage existing capabilities to support audit objectives.
* Lead and develop the Data Analytics capability within Audit, including resourcing, capability uplift, and driving adoption of analytics through training, coaching, and provision of fit‐for‐purpose tools.
* Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analytics and internal audit.

* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
* Skilled in working with a range of data sources including structured and unstructured, data extraction and manipulation in a complex enterprise environment.
* Ability to provide leadership, guidance and technical mentoring to less experienced team members.
* Tertiary qualified with a Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics or similar qualifications.
